Urban Rock was founded as a one-man business by Johannes Drexel around 24 years ago. The focus was on the development of backpacks. The garage and cellar were still used as storage at that time, and a planned children's room was converted into an office.1997

A rucksack and hip bag line with built-in LED lights was developed. This is intended to increase visibility at night.

In 2013 the new office with warehouse and own shop was built in Hohenems. Since the move in 2014 we have enough space, modern offices and a warehouse where we no longer need gloves in winter.

Production in Europe
We were looking for competent partners for our new Tecnostretch and Baselayer line. We found these in Portugal and Lithuania. Thanks to production facilities in these two countries, we have products in our range whose entire value chain is located in Europe.
