Our new men's shirt made from a bamboo-cotton blend has just arrived. Alassio is a great shirt for leisure time, for bouldering, climbing or for the less sweaty activities. The optimal mix of bamboo, combined with cotton, give the shirts a soft, textile feel and make them an indispensable companion in your free time.

Bamboo fiber

Bamboo grows very quickly, in some cases even a meter per day. Unlike most trees, felling bamboo does not kill the entire plant. The bamboo develops underground root systems, with the help of which it can regenerate quickly and develop new stalks. This property also enables it to absorb a particularly large amount of carbon dioxide from the air. Another plus: the plant is very stable and resistant to environmental influences. No harmful pesticides or fertilizers need to be used in cultivation. Artificial irrigation is usually not necessary either. In addition, the cultivation is good for the soil, as the widely ramified root systems help prevent erosion in the soil.

Bamboo clothing is very breathable, moisture-wicking, quick-drying and heat-regulating. Bamboo fabric is also antistatic and its properties are more comparable to wool than synthetic fibers such as nylon or polyester. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and so this fiber is also very suitable for allergy sufferers.
